Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup Piedmont Pennies Cheesy Panko Breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup of mustard
- 1 tablespoons Hot Honey
Instructions
-
Prep the Brussels Sprouts
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Roast 15–18 minutes until tender and caramelized.
-
Cook the Bacon
- While sprouts roast, cook bacon pieces in a skillet until just crisp (don’t overcook—it will crisp more in the oven).
-
Top the Brussels
- Remove the brussels from the oven. Top with the bacon pieces and cheesy panko.
- Toss with a tongs or a large spoon.
- Bake 10 more minutes until brussels are crispy.
-
Serve
- In a small dish, mix hot honey with the mustard.
- Remove brussels from the oven.
- Pour the mustard mixture on the top of the brussels. Toss with tongs.
- Serve warm!
Enjoy!
