A charming golf getaway full of Southern flavor, slow mornings & sunshine.

Watch our recap video here --> 48 hours in Pinehurst, NC.

Day 1: Arrival + Explore the Village

Afternoon

Check-in:
Settle into your stay—either a condo Airbnb on Pinehurst No. 4 (golf course views!) or the historic Carolina Hotel at Pinehurst Resort.

Village of Pinehurst stroll:

Grab a cozy coffee or iced lavender latte at The Roast Office, a local favorite tucked inside a bookstore. Shop around the Village of Pinehurst: don't miss Pinehurst Olive Oil Co. for tasty Piedmont Pennies' samples and charming Southern gifts.

Evening

Dinner at Elliott’s on Linden
Coble and I both said we'd eat here weekly if we lived in Pinehurst... Always fresh, delicious, and unique... Upscale Southern fare with lots of heart. Perfect for a romantic first-night dinner. Get a reservation!

Optional: Walk off dinner with a sunset stroll through the village or unwind on your porch with a glass of wine.

Day 2: Golf, Local Flavor & Aberdeen Stroll

Morning

Tee Time at The Cradle (Pinehurst Resort’s Par 3 Course)

Kick off your shoes (literally!) and walk a fun, short 9 holes, music playing, drinks in hand—it’s the Pinehurst golf experience in under 90 minutes.

🎟 Note: If you're staying at the Resort, book in advance through the website. If not, call 24 hours ahead to reserve.

Can't get a Cradle reservation? Head to Longleaf Golf & Family Club and play Bottlebrush, their fun 6-hole par-3 course designed for all skill levels. Home of U.S. Kids Golf (but open to all ages!)

Post-round snack or beverage at The Deuce, Southern Pines Brewing, Pinehurst Brewery, or back at your Airbnb.

Lunch

Head to The Villager Deli in the Village. The chicken salad sandwich and BLT are local legends. Sit on the patio and people watch if the weather’s nice.

Afternoon

Drive to Downtown Aberdeen (10 mins):

Stroll historic Main Street, shop antiques and Southern boutiques.

Stop into ETC. Downtown—a gem of a store with gifts, decor, and a little bit of everything you didn’t know you needed.

Evening

Casual Dinner:
Keep it low-key—try Drum & Quill or another local favorite like The Sly Fox (gastropub vibes, great beer list).

Nightcap back on the porch or stroll through the tree-lined roads around the resort.

Day 3: Coffee, Slow Morning + Departure

Morning

Breakfast at The Roast Office (again!)
Or the Agora for a European cafe vibe... Grab a pastry, people-watch, and browse the shelves.

Last-minute shopping:
Pop into Monkee's or Pinehurst Resort Pro Shop to grab a final gift or souvenir. Ok, Monkee's is for the gals, I will say :) Design Market in Aberdeen is also a must-visit! Over 40,000 square feet of unique antiques.

Midday:

Check out, coffee in hand, and head home feeling refreshed, rested, and maybe slightly more obsessed with golf.
