June 2, 2025
Hey Penny Pals, Becca here—trying something new. Weekly (or at least until it stops being fun), I’ll share a little Penny life update, some recs, and what’s on my mind.
Father’s Day Ideas (June 15th... Hop to!)
- For the foodie
- Bravo Steaks subscription (local, family-owned farm outside of Greensboro, we do the bi-monthly variety pack, ships frozen, SUCH great quality and a fun Instagram follow!)
- Cheesy Penny Panko (the easiest way to level up his chicken breading, salads, and chili topping... stays fresh for months in the freezer)
- For the golfer
- For the outdoorsman
How about some good ole quality time?
Make this Simply Southern Sausage Ball recipe for him (even better, WITH him).
Or prep ahead of time and freeze, take out 2-3 each morning for an easy breakfast win. I’m making a big batch and bringing to the beach next month...
Golf Girl Persona, Engaged
It’s happening: I’ve played golf twice this month and I picked up these cute, affordable clubs and have my eye on a Chocolate Lab head cover—Coble promised he’d get me one if I keep showing up to the course.
We spent Memorial Day Weekend in Pinehurst and I am fully obsessed. Recap video on YouTube here, and two-night itinerary here —golf, snacks, sunshine, repeat.
Summer Must-Haves
- Color block sneakers
- Matua "Savvy B"
- Australian, grapefruit-y, crisp, affordable, nostalgic, Sauvignon Blanc. Reminds me of Washington DC days with Audrey—Dupont circle row house backyard, Whole Foods guac, Dawes on a Bluetooth speaker. Good vibes in a bottle. Look for the light blue label. And for under $12. Made it two bottles!
We're still waiting on our kitchen's building permits... Our inventory is what we will have for the foreseeable future... So... If you need Pennies for the summer, stock up :/
Let me know what you think of this new shin-dig?
Stay Cheesin,
Becca
