We're back with your weekly porch Pennies.

This summer's theme... Soft Italian Summer ☀️🍊

I’ve been craving that sweet spot of slow afternoons, clinking glasses, and snacks that don’t require a stove. Enter: Aperitivos!

Mood board inspo – This is the full “soft Italian summer” aesthetic— peachy linens, rattan everything, and a soundtrack that includes Dean Martin.

- Tenuta (outfit) - Simple white dress with this (at $28?!) and earrings from this sale (the founder, Maggie, is a friend of mine) 

- Spritz season – Not an Aperol fan? What about its cousin, the Hugo Spritz? FAR superior, and a better use of the fresh mint growing in your backyard. Warning: It will go down like water...

- Apertivos – Similar to Southerners... Italians never drink without a snack. Coble and I enjoyed apertivos daily on our honeymoon to Lake Como. This weekend we're pouring spritzes alongside Parmesan & Herb Pennies — a savory, herby cheese cracker upgrade to traditional bar nuts. No. More. Boring. Nuts. People! 

 - Dinner idea – This Chicken Parm recipe is low-stress, high-reward. Serve it alongside fresh focaccia and sun-dried tomato Chevre dip (it's Pasta & Provisions best kept secret...)

We may not be in Positano, but your porch will do the trick.
